I take it you have the so-called convenient amnesia about signing this contract as well, then?

[ Lucien is pacing the hallways, pointlessly, and in the process is spreading a really fun variety of emotions. Paranoia, like an animal pacing the bars of its cage, and an exhaustion so profound the freakin' walls are moving. Maybe someone should actually try sleeping in ... his room ... ? It's pretty clear he did not do that, based on the rumpled clothes. ]

[in contrast, charles's vibes are basically just. calm. shifting into confusion and concern when he sees lucien being like this.]

[yo. my energy to write a real starter dies with every passing moment.]

So... how much did you not like the last nine hours?

[tombtaker]

[ he has something hateful to say: ]

... I don't know. It wasn't boring.

W1 - MONDAY

[tombtaker]

Have you been outside the ship yet?

[ he seems ........... mildly excited? is this the first good mood he's been in here? ]

[wow...]

I've taken a look. [a pause] Is it weird if I think it's kind of your scene?

[tombtaker]

[ he does a soft huff out of his nose, but the mild offense taken seems mostly for show. he is not actually offended. maybe the opposite. ]

Why's that, pray tell?

W1 - THURSDAY

[riverbeans]

[looking for lucien... where are you...]

[tombtaker]

[ he's not gone too far - just out of the chaos and mess and noise. he's wandered to hole up in the bathroom with a tube of the medical tape, trying to cover up the last of the wounds he hasn't managed to treat yet. it's messy and badly done, but he's managing okay.

there is blood everywhere though. people have to wash their face here ... ]

[watches him for a bit...]

w2 - saturday

[riverbeans]

[charles is tiredly drinking water on a couch somewhere or something idk starters hard saturday]

[tombtaker]

Don't want anything stronger than that?

w3 - sunday

[riverbeans]

[giving lucien a little wave when he sees him... how ya doing buddy]

[tombtaker]

[ reflexively, he gives a wave back and then seems like, weird about that. why was he just so friendly. weird. ]

w4 - thursday

[riverbeans]

[lucien where are you...]

... Twice? Yikes.

[tombtaker]

[ he IS actually in the medbay. Wow. Doing what he should be doing ... that's crazy.

right now he's been in the pod for a little while and is taking a break, digging around the cabinets to find something to put over his eye (because I have not decided what the fake one looks like yet) ]

Seems that way.

week 4, saturday

[riverbeans]

[charles is in the lounge, staring at the junoboard as though deep in thought.]

[tombtaker]

[ lucien is smoking, furiously, pacing back and forth across the lounge in front of him. it's probably annoying. ]

He used me. He should have said something-- He made me be the one.

w6 - friday

[riverbeans]

[in one of the biomes........ sorry if lucien WOULD NEVER COME HERE but the amount of locations that charles is willing to hang out in for extended periods of time since yesterday has been very small.

but when he sees lucien, he gives him a wave.]

[tombtaker]

[ he, in fact, loves the butterfly atrium and hangs out in there a lot so he can pretty easily be found there.

waving back ... wow. progress. ]

So, no one died.
