Think on what you've seen here. The information made available to us. The has happened all before - the previous crew, caught in rages, killing each other, death and destruction. You can discern for yourself that the dead aren't very far - they can see us at every turn, breath down the back of our necks. Ghosts in the machine. And we are under the control of this ship, regardless. It won't even let us disboard for the night without dragging us back, though I suppose you didn't experience that.

Nero had stabbed me in the beginnin', back in the Galley. That's why I was runnin' ahead, and Nero was chasing me. The blood trail at the start was mine.
